GolfDock Safety
Round Discovery helps golfers find and organize scheduled golf rounds with other eligible GolfDock golfers. Use the tools below to keep the experience focused on golf and to act quickly when something feels wrong.
Round Discovery is 18+ only
Round Discovery is limited to golfers who confirm they are 18 or older. GolfDock accounts generally are intended for users age 13+, but users under 18 are not eligible to use Round Discovery.
Meet at recognized golf facilities
Use Round Discovery for legitimate scheduled golf rounds at recognized golf facilities. Do not use it to arrange private-address meetings, lodging, transportation, or unrelated meetups. Tell someone where you are going when that is appropriate for your situation.
Use your own judgment
GolfDock facilitates introductions and organization. GolfDock does not guarantee another golfer’s identity, behavior, handicap, compatibility, attendance, or safety, and GolfDock does not perform criminal background checks unless a future product explicitly says otherwise.
Round Discovery privacy
Discovery is organized around courses and scheduled rounds. GolfDock may use your permitted location to calculate approximate course distance or matching, but another golfer’s precise live device GPS coordinates are not publicly exposed through Round Discovery.
Booking vs Discovery
A Round Discovery post, invitation, acceptance, or group does not by itself create or guarantee a tee-time reservation, payment, or course booking. A booking exists only when GolfDock or the golf facility explicitly confirms it through a booking flow.
How to report a golfer
Use the report action available in GolfDock where provided, or contact support with the username, relevant round/message/context, and a concise explanation. Avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
How to block a golfer
Use the block action available in the user or social flow. Blocking is private and the blocked golfer is not told who blocked them. Attempts to evade a block can result in enforcement.
What happens after a report
GolfDock reviews available evidence and may warn, restrict, suspend, remove content, or terminate access depending on severity, repeat behavior, safety risk, and legal obligations.
